Alex is under the weather this week. Keep her in your thoughts.
We're going to get a real professional to look inside her ears next week.

sleep over
Yea Rae
I moved the slide inside so that Alex could get plenty of practice during this cold and muddy spring in Colorado.
I usually clap for Alex when she gets to the bottom of the slide, however this time I didn't because I didn't want to hear my cheers on the video, so Alex made Rae celebrate her victory.

Siesta Key 5K
#126
The Big Weiner
Look! I WON!
I was 7th place overall, and the 1st female finisher. The wind was at my back.
I won a beautiful Orchid and a haircut.
My only regret is not wearing the medal that's in my hand for this picture.
(However, I did wear the medal the rest of the day on the beach in my bikini...nasty, nasty tan line)

RI-REE
Sooooo many pictures to download, and too tired to make it happen tonight.
However, Alex has made a friend down here, she is a cute little dog named Lilly.
Alex calls her, "RI-REE". (That accent must be from the Asian side of the family.)

Easter egg hunt #1
Green Machine
Big girl
Alex can finally do the slide all by herself, and she's real proud.
She did this about 80 times, and each time she would spend a few seconds to clear her hands of grass specs before her next run.

We're stressed
Virtual Friends,
It's been a bumpy road here at the homefront the past few days. You see, Alex has been plagued with ear infections since she started cutting teeth. She's working on her 6th ear infection right now! We've decided to take her off the bottle completely in hopes that her ears will clear up. Our poor little chicken is having a rough time adjusting...actually we're all having a hard time adjusting.
I've never been a fan of the "Cry It Out" method, but here we are, letting her cry it out.
Alex, if you're reading this, I hope you know that we love you, and that we cried too.
I hope we're doing the right thing...
Parenting is seriously stressful.
On another note, Alex says:
Cheese when she sees trees or geese
Moons when she sees balloons
nonos when she sees windows
and Buzz when she wants to watch "Toy Story".
