These photos were taken one year apart. Today we had the first snowfall of the season. When Alex woke up, we showed her the snow through the window, and she had to go outside THAT VERY SECOND OR SHE SIMPLY COULD NOT GO ON LIVING.
I bundled her up, and she cleared our lawn of snow by eating it one handful at a time.
