Spidey

Spiderman climbed up her spider web with such confidence!  Alex was so proud of herself, but no one was more proud than me!

It's great to have a best friend!

Roar!

Eye of the tiger.

This tiger is hungry!

The first words out of Alex's mouth today, "I need to go save the world."

Tiger Girl

The finished product.  Tiger Girl.

We switched to Tiger Stripes so that Sussa could earn back Alex's trust.

NOT A HORSE!!!!

Alex requested that a Snow Leopard be painted on her back by her Grandma Sussa.  She was ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGED to find out that it was a horse.  We are still laughing about that little artistic mix up.

So re-dickleas!

Everyday I am so thankful to have a Superhero in the house.  I feel so safe.
Funny story:  Last night I was putting Alex to sleep, and she could not calm down!  I gave her a few warnings, and then I took her rubber snake, Ozzie away and put it under my legs.  She cried, and screamed, and cried, and pleaded with me to "pleeze give me him back Mama".  I gave her another warning, and finally took away her stuffed kitty, and also shoved it under my legs.
She screamed and cried...then she suddenly became quiet and said, "Mama, this is RE-DICKLEAS!  Where are you putting these animals?"
She really caught me off guard and made me laugh so hard that all of my credibility was lost.

The Princess and the Bearded Dragon

This child of ours is so unpredictable!  Here she is in a Princess dress, petting a Bearded Dragon.  I could have predicted that she would have loved touching the dragon, but NEVER the Princess dress part.  She spoke in this strange Princess voice all night, AND NEVER BROKE CHARACTER!

Best Day Ever continued...

Petting a real rabbit with a best friend is the greatest.  Thank you Angelica, Oscar, Mimi and Megan for such great memories!

Best Day Ever

Alex's best day ever began with this frog, whom she named "frog girl".  She almost loved this frog to death, but then decided that frog girl was missing her frog family, so she returned it to mother nature.

Dental hygiene

Meet Cousin Janey.  She is teaching Alex how to floss properly.  Janey is legit, you can tell by her scrubs.  She works with teeth all day.

Michigan

Alex had such a great trip to Michigan!  Here is her Grandma and Great Aunt.  She is teaching them how to use her ipad.
